Hutton Pulitzer Reports:  Meet The Welsh Indiana Jones, He Found A Lost City #HuttonPulitzer

A Forest archaeology tutor has been dubbed the Welsh Indiana Jones after developing a hunch that a long lost city was buried underneath a field just over the border in Wales.

Stuart Wilson was just 25 when he gambled £40,000 on buying the field because he believed pottery pieces unearthed by moles pointed to it being the site of the lost city of Trellech. And after 12 years of digging he has now found evidence of large settlement which was home to 10,000 people, a quarter the size of medieval London.
